Abstract:

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) technique now widely use for efficiency evaluation of a set of Decision Making Units (DMUs). As regards of the necessity for ranking efficient units different DEA models presented each of which has advantages and rank efficient units from special aspects. Note that all the existing ranking models have disadvantages, as well and there is not a model in which all the benefits of different ranking model gathered. The aim of this paper is to provide a new ranking method which, to a great extent, consider advantages of various ranking models. In doing so voting technique, on basis of the obtained ranking order of other ranking methods, utilized. For clarity an application of this new method in banking system is provided.

Preference Voting and Ranking Using Dea Game Cross Efficiency Model

Abstract Data envelopment analysis (DEA), a useful assessment tool, has been used to solve the problem of preference voting and aggregation which require the determination of the weights associated with different ranking places. Instead of applying the same externally imposed weighting scheme to all candidates, DEA models allow each candidate to choose his/her own weights in order to maximize h...

A Ranked Voting System For Consolidation of Different Results of Ranking Methods in DEA

Within data envelopment analysis is a subgroup of papers in which many researchers have sought to improve the differential capabilities of DEA and to fully rank the decision making units (DMU). However, whilst each technique is useful in a specialist area, no one methodology can be prescribed as the complete solution to the question of ranking. Different results which are reached in applying th...

Ranking of DMUs by using TOPSIS and different ranking models in DEA

As regards of the necessity of ranking efficient units different Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models are introduced. Each of the existing models has advantages and deals with ranking efficient units from special aspects. But, there exist no model has all these benefits in a unified manner. The aim of this paper is to present a new ranking method which can incorporate, to a great extent, adva...
